G.I. JOE: Cold Slither (A Forgotten Classic Joe Episode)

"Cold Slither, you'll be joing us soon. A band of vipers playin' a tune."

You've probably seen the movie by now (I haven't yet) and are now researching the shit out of the old GI Joe episodes. There a ton of classic episodes from the series I watched (G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero) but besides the Weather Domintator, the DNA shopping to make Serpentor and countless others the episode "Cold Slither" is truly a classic.

It has classic Joe moments. An outrageous Cobra Commander plot to rule the world, a special guest appearance by Zartan and the Dreadnoks, laser battles and blown up vehicles and Duke being a bitchy control freak. And the best bonus is Scarlet, Cover Girl and Lady Jaye looking super hot as imitation Cold Slither groupies.

You've all probably seen the Ballad of G.I. Joe video thats been circulating but nothing beats the ending of the Joe's playing their beloved theme song to a pack full of former brainwashed fans.

A classic play them out keyboard cat-like moment.

Just watch the episode already.

I have this ep. on VHS...one of my favorites! Thanks for giving it some attention. Zartan and the Dreadnoks were my favorite GI Joe characters ever. I don't plan on seeing the new film...it's not enough like the original cartoon to get me to go see it in the theater.

An appearance from the Tomax and Zamont also makes this one of the best episodes as well.

Hey...thanks for the spotlight on the COLD SLITHER episode. As the writer of both the script and the song...I am pleased to know that it still has so many dedicated fans all these years later!
